“Time-anchored yet timeless, frightening yet essential.” — Richard Allen, A Closer Listen.
A short suite of pieces, combining traditional instrumentation, found sounds, recorded environments and electronics, inspired by the war stories of Kazimierz Aulich on his arduous journey from Poland to the UK between 1939 and 1944, and his time in the army until 1948. The suite is dedicated to his memory.
Richard Allen of A Closer Listen has reviewed the release here. I’d like to thank him for his kind words.
